Between June and September 2020, I joined WHO Thailand on field visits across Pathum Thani, Samut Sakhon, Bang Kapi and Pakkred to document how local health systems adapted to the unfolding COVID-19 crisis. These missions focused on a range of essential health services, from routine care and disease prevention to community engagement and facility readiness, capturing how frontline staff implemented “new normal” measures to ensure both safety and continuity of care during the pandemic.
