Migrants Rights are Human Rights

As part of IOM’s Migration, Business and Human Rights (MBHR) programme in Asia, I photographed and supported interviews with Myanmar migrant workers in Thailand, in close collaboration with the Human Rights Development Foundation (HRDF). The project focuses on empowering migrants — particularly women and those in vulnerable situations — by promoting awareness of their labour rights and improving access to legal services and regularization pathways. The resulting photo essay was exhibited at the Foreign Correspondents' Club of Thailand (FCCT) and showcased during a Global Forum on Responsible Recruitment (GFRR) event, highlighting the real-life impact of rights-based support within migration corridors in Asia.
