In partnership with the Royal Thai Government, UNHCR, and others, UNICEF is leading efforts to end childhood statelessness in Thailand — one of the countries with the highest number of stateless children. I was commissioned to photograph this campaign, capturing powerful moments that highlight the importance of legal identity in giving children access to their rights, education, healthcare, and a fair start in life. The campaign was launched ahead of the Global Alliance to End Statelessness in Geneva.​
